Note: Make sure your laptop or your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Download HP Smart App
Now, you need to download the HP Smart app to set up HP ENVY printer:
-
First, download the HP Smart app from the official website, or App Store/Google Play.
-
If you don't already have the app on your computer, you can also download it from 123.hp.com.

Create an account if you haven't, or sign in with an existing account.
-
If you are using a smartphone, make sure to enable Bluetooth, as it helps locate the printer during setup.
-
After signing in, the app will take you to the home screen as a guest.
Step 3: Enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode
Next, you need to enable Wi-Fi setup mode for your printer. You must note that the process for enabling Wi-Fi setup mode varies depending on the type of your printer.

Select your Wi-Fi and click Submit after entering your credentials.
-
Once you enter the password, press OK.
When the printer enters Wi-Fi setup mode, the front-edge lighting will pulse and change color.
You will see the 'Wi-Fi light blink blue' and then turn solid blue when successfully connected. When it becomes a stable blue light with a wireless light, it is stable as well, which means your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi.
